Example
Janet is the HR director at Garnet Inc. After reviewing a diversity report of existing employees she notices very little diversity: the report shows a disproportionate number of employees who are Caucasian compared to employees who are people of color. Per the DEI policy, she revisits the steps for ensuring a diverse pool of candidates and adjusts which platforms are being used to post jobs in order to increase visibility of these roles to people of color.
